"学び"のバトン。卒業生から在校生へ。

毎年６月は、聖園の空気が少し熟します。
教育実習生として、聖園の卒業生が戻ってくるからです。

聖園の空気を知る人が一時的に増えるのです。
在校生は、聖園の心を大学で実践してきた卒業生に、
卒業後の自分を重ねあわせ、今の学びの意味を確認
できる、貴重なチャンスです。

今年も、９名の実習生が聖園の空気づくりに参加して
くれました。
そして、忙しい中、２人の実習生が実習の最後の週に
高校３年生・高校２年生へメッセージを伝え、質問にも
応えてくれました。

１人は、上智大学 外国語学部 英語学科での学びを
活かし、英語で、Power Point を活用したものでした。

"Through my presentation, I explained mainly about
how I studied English when I was in high-school,
university entrance exam, and how I'm studying now
in university.
When I was a high-school student, I was wondering
how I should strike a balance between AO exams
preparations and regular exam studies.
That's why I tried to show students some merits and
demerits of AO exam which I took.
I think it's important for students to know what and
how they should prepare for each kind of exam,
even if they don't exactly follow how I did.
I believe that it is good for students to be able to
prepare for both AO exams and regular exams,
because then they will get a lot of chances to be
accepted in universities.

もう１人は、東京芸術大学 美術学部 美術学科での
学びを活かし、Preji を活用したものでした。

「フランスの新印象主義の画家ポール・シニャックは、
１つ１つの点に様々な色を用いて作品を描きました。
彼の絵には、時々、一見関係のなさそうな色の点が
用いられていますが、全体を俯瞰すると、１つの作品
を構成する大切な１つの点となります。
このように、どのような経験でも、いつか俯瞰して見た
ときに、自分の大切な要素となるので、みなさんも、
聖園で積極的に学んでいってください。」


在校生からは、質問もあがりました。

Q. There was a question
     about how I am getting
     use of what I learned
     in the university to my
     internship abroad (or
     vice versa).

A.  I think that it is important
     to set a goal or aim inside 
     yourself when you're going
     abroad for studying/ working.
     As I spent 4 years in the 
 university, I saw lots of friends go studying abroad. 
 However, I didn't find myself interested in studying in
 foreign universities, because I wanted to try myself
 working in foreign company.
 I thought that working needs more responsibilities for each 
 person than studying and also needs cooperation between 
 people having different ways of thinking, and finally achieving 
 something together. 
 I've learned how we can discuss or debate with people having 
 different opinions, and also how to present one's ideas properly
 in classes, so internship in abroad which required me to say out
 loud my opinion clearly, figuring out other staffs' views and to
 finally make an agreement really attributes to all my works in 
 school-life. 
 It was a wonderful experience to try myself using what I learned 
 through high-school to university. 
 So, if you're going abroad for study, it would be nice to think about
 what you're going to study for.

「内容も高度になり、進度も上がっていく中で、
  モチベーションをどのようにあげていくといいですか」












激励
「１００点以上を目指してやりましょう。世の中にでたら、
  １００点で終わりなんてあり得ません。
  自分で限界、つまり、１００点を作るのではなく、
  それ以上の「プラスα」を築き上げるように、学んでいきましょう。
  世の中に出たら、その「プラスα」が自分の個性になっていきます。」


表現手段が多様になった時代です。

言葉・文字・音声・画像・映像、
そして、それらを統合できる Power Point や Preji などを
駆使して、教育実習生たちは表現してくれました。

そして、さすが、聖園の卒業生たちです。
手段が増えて、表現が多様になっても、伝える中身は、普遍的なもの。
時代を超えて、地域を越えて普遍的なものを、
言葉でも文字でも、画像でも映像でも、Power Point でも Preji でも、
表現できる力を、聖園生たちは、卒業生でもある教育実習生たちから学びました。

さあ、次は、高校３年生、高校２年生の番です。
先輩たちが築き上げてきたものを受け継ぎ、深め、多様な手段で表現していきましょう。
勉強も試験も大学入試も、多様な表現の１つです。
主に、正解を表現していく取り組みなので、単調で意味を見失いがちですが、
選り好みせず、すべての表現のチャンスを大事にしましょう。

教育実習生でもある、聖園の卒業生たちは、
それらの表現チャンスを、しっかりと活かしてきました。











さあ、聖園生たちの
表現手段が多様に、表現内容は普遍的になっていきます！
